I also have a problem with some DVD playback being a bit grainy. However the MBP has such a top quality screen that I just want to enjoy it to its maximum. I may be a bit pedantic on this, and I have become somewhat obsessed with optimizing the setting on the screen profile. Moreover, is there any utility that you can recommend to set this up?
